Donald Dones 

I am Donald Dones, a proud resident of Siler City for the past 30 years. I grew up in Martinsville VA and attended St Augustine’s College whereupon I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education.

I have been married for 35 years to a Siler City native (Angela Craven) where we currently have three children and five grandchildren. Currently I am a Social Studies teacher at Thomasville City School, while I also coached Middle school football, basketball and baseball, while also umpiring baseball and softball throughout the year.

 I have been an avid participant and advocate for youth sports all of my life. I played youth football, basketball, wrestling and baseball. In college I played baseball for one year and was a student athletic trainer for the women men’s basketball, track, soccer and volleyball teams. I also started umpiring baseball and refereeing while in college.

I served as Siler City Parks and Recreation Director from December 2000 to January 2014 we offered youth football (with approx. 125 kids), youth basketball (over 200 kids) and baseball over 200 youths and soccer. Along with tennis, basketball and football camps throughout the summer.

My caring and support for youth has been exhibited throughout my life, by attending and supporting youth teams whenever Siler City has been represented in all-star tournaments and away football games and progressing throughout their high school careers.

My faith and belief in God have sustained and motivated me to resurrect this football program and with your support it will be stronger than before.​

Aron Brewington 

I am Aron Brewington a proud resident of Siler City born and raised. I have a high school diploma from Jordan Matthews High School and a little college education from Campbell University. In 2005 I started my barber career by attending Sanford-Lee School of Barbering where I became a Master Barber in 2006. I've been a barber for the last 18 years. I've also coached multiple sports here in our local recreation department for several years. I love being apart of the community and kids.

​Stevie Lee Jr. 

As a proud member of the Siler City community, I have been coaching baseball and football for the past10 years. I was a multiple sport athlete growing up and played in this very community where my coaches instilled many values and standards I still live by today. For the last 2 years, I have been an assistant coach for the Siler City Jets 14u, and I am passionate about helping young athletes grow and develop both on and off the field.​

Sam Glover

My name is Sam Glover and I have been coaching football for the Siler City Recreational Department for the past 20 years. I have also been employed by the Parks and Rec for 10 of those years. I grew up playing sports in this community including football.

Cedric Lee

As a lifelong resident of Siler City, I have seen the importance of community involvement firsthand. For the past 20 years, I have volunteered as a coach, working with the youth in our area. I also had the pleasure playing sports growing up in the Siler City community as a youth. I strongly believe that investing in our youth is crucial to the success and growth of our community.

Rodney Wiley

 As a proud Chatham County native and Jordan Matthews High School graduate, I have dedicated my life to serving my community. With over 10 years of experience coaching parks and recreation football in Siler City and currently coaching varsity basketball at Jordan Matthews High School, I am passionate about helping young people reach their full potential. I am a devoted husband and father of three, all of whom graduated from Jordan Matthews High School. Currently employed by Chatham County, I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives those around me.
